Our Team

Scot Yoxall

Scot has lived in the local area his whole life, he graduated in 2003 with First Class Honours, and started work in our Caerphilly Practice soon after. He has been in private practice there ever since. Scot is what you might call a sports fanatic and has more has more than a passing interest in many (if not all) sports!

Scot has transferred his love of sport into his work and thoroughly enjoys working with a variety of sportspeople from a wide range of sports at all levels from recreational or local club to International level. Scot believes that getting people pain free is a great start but the key to staying healthy lies in good rehabilitation. Scot is a keen cricketer and golfer.

Emma Conroy

Emma graduated in 2003 with First Class Honours and commenced working in private practice in Newport, prior to opening Blackwood Chiropractic Centre. Emma always wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, and considered many other professions prior to deciding to become a Chiropractor – which she considers the best decision she’s ever made!

Emma originally hails from Dublin but has lived in the local area for whats now nearly half of her life, and wouldn’t want to be anywhere else. Emma thrives on the diversity of working in private practice but her real passion lies in the treatment of babies and their mums and mums to be, Emma believes it is never too early to start looking after your body. It is not just the younger generation who have benefited from Emma’s care, in fact her eldest patient was a 94 year old lady, who felt she just wasn’t as mobile as she’d like to be!

Filippo Varetta

Filippo graduated with a Masters in Chiropractic from the University of South Wales, having moved to the UK from Milan. Filippo decided to pursue a career in Chiropractic after his families and his own experiences of the benefits of Chiropractic care.

Filippo is a keen sportsman and regularly plays water polo and generally keeps himself fit and healthy.

Tabetha White

Tabby is originally from Reading but moved to South Wales to study Chiropractic and also graduated with a Masters in Chiropractic.

Tabby found Chiropractic through her parents being treated and was inspired by the difference it made for them. She eventually experienced Chiropractic first hand and hasn’t looked back since.

Tabby is a keen Cheerleader (which she assures us is actually a sport!), and she has recently been selected to represent Team Wales – her adopted country!

Barry Williams

Barry found Chiropractic having worked previously backstage in theatres, and his own experiences of health and spinal problems led him to Chiropractic and subsequently a career change.

Barry graduated with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic and has settled into the local area and very much enjoys life in this area, being able to take advantage of the great outdoors that we are lucky enough to be surrounded by when he’s not at work.
